Hey there!

A brand manifesto isn’t just a nice-sounding paragraph.

It’s your rallying cry.

Your North Star.

Your call to arms for customers, team members, and anyone who encounters your brand.

And let’s be honest, most Amazon sellers don’t have one. Or if they do, it’s something like:

“We believe in quality and customer satisfaction.”

That’s not a manifesto. That’s a nap.

The truth? In crowded markets, it’s not just what you sell, but what you stand for. That sets you apart.

With ChatGPT, you can build a brand manifesto that goes beyond fluff — and actually energizes your business, your content, and your customers.

Here’s how to do it:

Step 1: Define What Your Brand Really Believes

A strong manifesto starts with conviction. If you try to please everyone, you’ll inspire no one.

Use ChatGPT to extract your deepest beliefs about your product, your customer, and the world you’re trying to improve.

Prompt Example:

“Act as a brand strategist. Ask me 10 questions to help uncover the core beliefs, values, and worldview behind my Amazon brand.”

Example questions ChatGPT might ask:

  • Why does your product exist — beyond making money?

  • What frustrates you about your industry or niche?

  • What do your customers deserve that they’re not getting elsewhere?

Step 2: Feed ChatGPT Raw Material to Work With

Great brand manifestos aren’t invented. They’re uncovered.

Give ChatGPT your raw thoughts, then let it shape the language.

Prompt Example:

“Here are my rough notes about what we believe, who we help, and how we’re different: [insert notes]. Please turn this into a bold, emotional brand manifesto under 200 words. Tone: clear, grounded, and inspiring.”

Step 3: Include a Line That Polarizes (On Purpose)

A good manifesto says: “We’re for people who believe in this. And we’re not for those who don’t.”

Ask ChatGPT to help you sharpen that line.

Prompt Example:

“Take this manifesto and add a short section that calls out what we’re against — a belief, system, or trend that we reject.”

Step 4: Turn the Manifesto into Marketing Fuel

A manifesto should drive your entire brand tone and strategy. Ask ChatGPT to help you extract usable pieces for:

  • Amazon A+ Content

  • Homepage copy

  • Creator briefs

  • Product packaging

  • Social media intros

  • Welcome emails

  • Team onboarding

For example, if you choose to use it on your website, you can then leverage the Enhanced Listing Creation AI Tool Amazon just added.

This AI tool can:

👉 create listings from a URL to your own website.

👉 enhance existing listings based on shopping trends.

Prompt Example:

“Turn this manifesto into 3 short lines I can use in A+ Content modules, 2 Instagram bios, and 1 welcome email headline. Keep the voice consistent.”

Step 5: Write a Manifesto That Evolves with You

As your brand grows, so do your beliefs.

Use ChatGPT to revisit and refine your manifesto quarterly or yearly — based on customer feedback, team values, and new challenges.

Prompt Example:

“Here’s our current manifesto. Based on this year’s wins, customer feedback, and product changes, help me evolve this into a 2025 version that reflects who we’re becoming — not just who we were.”

Final Thoughts

Your brand isn’t your logo.

It’s not your fonts.

It’s not even your product.

It’s the story you stand for and invite others into.

ChatGPT won’t give you that story out of thin air. But it will help you uncover it, sharpen it, and shape it into a manifesto that speaks loud and clear.

So when someone asks:

“What’s your brand about, really?”

You won’t fumble for words.

You’ll say: “Let me show you what we believe.”

💡 Now is your turn: If you had to sum up your brand in one bold belief, what would it be? Reply to this email and let me know.

And once you’ve put your manifesto into words, the next challenge is making sure that same clarity and conviction shows up where it matters most.
