📽️ Script a YouTube Product Review in Minutes

Hey there!
A great product review video doesn’t just describe a product. It convinces someone to buy it.
But most sellers either wing it on camera (and lose viewers fast), or waste hours writing a script from scratch.
With ChatGPT, you can generate complete, high-converting video scripts in minutes—structured, engaging, and optimized for your ideal buyer.
Here’s how to do it.
STEP 1: Pick the Review Angle
Start by deciding what kind of review you're creating—comparison, unboxing, long-term use, demo, etc.
Pick the structure based on your audience’s biggest question. Your format determines what kind of story you’ll tell.
Prompt:
“Act as a video marketer. Give me 5 YouTube product review angles for a [product name/type] targeting [audience]. Include a title idea and script structure for each.”
Here are some examples for a collapsible water bottle:
“Unboxing + First Impressions”
“7 Days with the EcoBottle: Is It Worth It?”
“Collapsible vs. Standard Bottle: Which One Wins?”
Choose one and move on to scripting.
STEP 2: Write the Full Script (With a Hook!)
Don’t just list features—craft a flow. A strong review typically has 4 parts:
✅ Hook: Grab attention in the first 5 seconds with a relatable question, bold statement, or quick visual.
✅ Context: Share why you tried the product—was it a problem you had? A specific goal?
✅ Demonstration: Show or describe the product in action. Make sure to tie features to real benefits.
✅ Reaction & CTA: Give your honest take, and invite the viewer to explore more (but without sounding pushy).
Think of it like a mini-story, not a pitch.
Prompt:
“Write a full YouTube product review script for the angle: [insert title/angle]. Include an engaging intro hook, key benefits, a short demo section, personal reactions, and a natural CTA.”
You can specify tone too—conversational, enthusiastic, honest, etc.
STEP 3: Make It Feel Authentic
Speak the buyer’s language.
If your audience is parents, don’t sound like a tech blogger. If it’s outdoor enthusiasts, focus on real-world use—not just specs.
Add human moments: what surprised you, what felt underwhelming, how you actually used the product in your day.
Prompt:
“Add natural commentary and personal-style phrases to make this feel unscripted and relatable. Keep it clear, but not robotic.”
Want to sound like a real user? Also ask: “Add realistic pros and cons from a buyer’s perspective.”
STEP 4: Add SEO to the Script
YouTube is a search engine. If you want your video seen, match what your audience is searching for.
This means:
Using natural-sounding keywords in the title and description
Mentioning benefits people look for (e.g., “leak-proof water bottle for hiking”)
Adding tags and keywords that match common queries
Prompt:
“Suggest 5 SEO-friendly YouTube titles and descriptions for this video. Include keywords people actually search for when looking for [product].”
Here’s an example from ChatGPT:

STEP 5: Turn Script Into On-Screen Structure
Once you have the script, structure it visually for filming and editing.
Prompt:
“Break this video script into shot-by-shot sections. Include on-screen cues, camera suggestions, and where to insert B-roll or product close-ups.”
Now you’ve got a plan for recording and editing—whether you do it or outsource it.

Former Zillow exec targets $1.3T
The top companies target big markets. Like Nvidia growing ~200% in 2024 on AI’s $214B tailwind. That’s why the same VCs behind Uber and Venmo also backed Pacaso. Created by a former Zillow exec, Pacaso’s co-ownership tech transforms a $1.3 trillion market. With $110M+ in gross profit to date, Pacaso just reserved the Nasdaq ticker PCSO.
